Built by a BrightPay bureau
The Payroll Portal was built inside a UK bureau that processes its clients' payrolls in BrightPay Cloud every week and month. It's designed around how a BrightPay bureau actually works.
Where it fits in your month
- Before the pay run. The portal shows which clients are due, who owns each one and whose hours or changes haven't arrived yet.
- During processing. Your team works from one prioritised list, with each pay run's checklist and notes in one place. Processing itself happens in BrightPay as normal.
- Approval. Each pay run shows when it's waiting for the client, with chase reminders, so you can see at a glance who still needs chasing.
- After the pay run. Queries arrive as tickets linked to the client, and the month-end view shows what's left to finish.
Keep BrightPay Connect for what it does well
BrightPay's own client portal covers payslips, reports and payroll entry and approval requests. Keep using it. The Payroll Portal sits alongside it as the bureau's workflow and client relationship layer, covering every client in one view whatever their pay frequency.
Other payroll software
BrightPay Cloud comes first because it's what we use ourselves. If your bureau uses IRIS, Staffology, Sage or Moneysoft, tell us on the waitlist form: it decides which software we support next.
BrightPay and BrightPay Connect are products of Bright Software Group. The Payroll Portal is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bright.
